BENCHMARKING CONFERERENCE |

Greetings! from the Secretariat on Benchmarking
The Training & Productivity Authority of Fiji is scheduling a Benchmarking Conference on the theme: Sharing and Learning Best Practices for Sustainability on Friday, 7th May at the Holiday Inn Suva.
The aim of the Conference is to motivate organizations across industries to have an understanding of the benefits of sharing and learning from each other for continuous and sustainable improvement through benchmarking best practices. Participation by distinguished speakers from successful partners in Fiji and abroad are planned for the Conference.
The launching of a publication on Benchmarking Best Practices. Discussion of critical issues to business excellence such as: Barriers to applying and sustaining Business Excellence within Fijian companies and how can they be overcome; How more companies in Fiji can follow a Business Excellence path? What are the main current and emerging challengers facing Fijian companies? and What does Fiji do well in term of helping organizations on their Business Excellence journey?

The Productivity Promotion Department is embarking on a consultancy programme with Ranjit Garments on the Effective/Efficient Ratio and COMPASS Software.
The proposed dates for this consultancy is from the 10th, 17th and 24th April 2010.
